All hands on the decks

14/09/2022

This week Bush Radio is busier than usual. We started with a major service of our studios, starting with every piece of equipment getting taken out, dismantled, cleaned and repaired if necessary.

What this means is that we are broadcasting from our production studio.

The servicing team is under the guidance of Ebrahim Sampson from AB Technical Solution.

We guess you can call this the start of our “spring-cleaning”.

Spend your Mandela Day with us

ct apd.jpgNelson Mandela International Day commemorates the lifetime of service Nelson Mandela gave to South Africa and the world. It was launched on his birthday, 18 July, in 2009 via a unanimous decision by the UN General Assembly.

This year the theme is dedicated to fight poverty. (#ACTIONAGAINSTPOVERTY #MANDELADAY)

July is also known asĀ  psycho-social disability awareness month, Bush Radio trainees have decided to dedicate their 67 minutes for Mandela Day to the Cape Town Association for the Physically Disabled.
