Bush Radio in partnership with Vodacom will be bringing you the very best of SA entertainment at the Vodacom Community Comedy Festival on Sunday the 10th July 2011 at the Joseph Stone Auditorium in Athlone from 4pm-6pm.
A group of artists, musicians and dance groups will also take the stage to ensure that you are entertained for the entire evening.
Doors open at 3:30pm and Emile YX? (Black Noise) together with the very passionate dance group Heal the Hood will kick off the music half of the afternoon at 4pm sharp.
Upcoming South African Artist’s Sylvester will then showcase his talent and bring the very best of slow jams to the audience. Rapper and freestyler Xola X, will then wow the crowd with his crazy beats.
His performance will then be followed by the young and vibrant recording artist Denyschia. Hip Hop group New Kids Edition (NKE) will then pump up the volume.

The SAMA awarded singer/song writer Claire Phillips will end off the music and dance entertainment part of the event.
It will then be time for comedians; Wayne Mckay, Mum-z and Dalin Oliver to showcase the best that SA comedy has to offer.
Tickets will only cost you R40 per adult and R20 per child under the age of 12.

While it seemed like the whole of South Africa was putting the final preparations together for the FIFA Soccer World Cup final – and a few warned us about the impact of hosting this event – Bush Radio was organising an evening of music and comedy for the Bush Radio / Vodacom Community Funny Festival.

Everyone was captivated by the performances
After weeks of careful planning, sound checks, rehearsals and running around it all came together on the evening of July 9 at the Joseph Stone Auditorium in Athlone.

Dyllan and Victor hosted the first part of the evening
Excited listeners and supporters arrived early to wait for the doors to open at 5pm.

Denisia kept things moving backstage
Shiraaz Ismail was tasked to head the Bush Radio team which included Denisia Adams, Victor Jay, Sive Msolo, Dyllan Canterbury, Brenda Leonard, Elroy Williams, Belinda Sepkit, Sharon Salies and Adrian Louw.

Vodacom in collaboration with Bush Radio 89.5 FM are bringing you the best of SA entertainment under one roof.
Three comedians and four musical acts will keep your entertained on the 9th July 2010 at the Joseph Stone Auditorium in Athlone for only R40!
Doors open at 5:30 and Shaz & B kick off the musical half of the night at 6pm sharp.
SAMA-nominated Byron Clarke will wow the crowd with his mellow tunes followed by the head of the Stereotype family and SAMA nominee Chad Saaiman.
International recording artist Zaki Ibrahim will then bring down the house with her sultry and soulful voice.
