See you at the 2015 Toy Run

toyrun.jpgBush Radio 89.5FM volunteers would like to invite listeners to support the 33rd Annual Cape Town Toy Run™ taking place on Sunday, the 29th November.

Bush Radio’s The Biker Show (Monday evenings from 7 – 10pm) and Retro Rewind with Cazz (Sundays 10am – 12pm) are scheduled to broadcast at the end venue (William Herbert Sports Ground) from 10am to 2pm on 89.5fm in Cape Town and worldwide on www.bushradio.co.za

The Toy Run™ takes place under the auspices of the Italian Motorcycle Owners Club (IMOC), and is now the largest motorcycling-related charity event in Southern Africa and arguably the world.

Launching a Hometown Hit

Join us this Sunday, the 28th November 2010 from 12pm at The G-Spot for a Bring ‘n Braai, CD Launch and a live broadcast with Roger Lewis, Victor Davids and Wayne Mckay.

Besides live entertainment organised by the G Spot Leisure Lounge and The Western Cape Musician’s Organisation (WCMA), the event will also see the launch of Bush Radio’s first popular music compilation CD called Hometown Hits put together with Cape Town Sound.

The CD features various artists who have been popular on 89.5FM. A few of the artists on the 19 track compilation are: Blackkurrant, Byron Clarke, Chad Saaiman, Alistair Izobell, Keeno Lee, The Boyz, Edith, Richard Ceasar, Tim Moloi, Thabo Mdluli, McCoy Mrubata and Shaz & B etc.

The song “Hometown” by Grant Perez featuring St. Emmo is exclusively available on this CD.

Entrance to the event is R 40, starting at 12pm and there will be limited copies of the CD on sale for R100.

The CD will also be available at major music stores, so get your copy for Christmas.

Get ready to Spring and Braai

Join us this Sunday (26 September 2010) from 12h00 to 18h00 at The Generations Cafe (The G-Spot).

Besides catching up with some of the Bush Radio presenters, staff and volunteers. The G-Spot has organised a strong line-up of local artists like Salome, Carmen Xclusive, N2, The Instrumentals and many more to provide entertainment at the event.
