Impilo Jazz Experience – 27 April 2019

Come and join the Impilo Jazz Experience 2019 2nd Edition event. It will be held on the 27th April 2019 (Saturday) at the Eziko Restaurant, Corner of Washington (now known as King Langalibalele Drive) and Jungle Walk in Langa, Cape Town from 2pm till late, with entertainment from Abavuki, Vukuhambe Jazz Band, Fancy Galada, DJ Sebs &Traa, DJ Shodz and DJ Amish.

Tickets available from web tickets and for only RI50 and get a group discount when you buy 10 tickets or more.

Only empty cooler boxes permitted to the premises, food, bar and card facilities are available.

On Friday, 27 April 2018, South Africa’s Freedom Day –  Everyday People host Sive Msolo will attempt to broadcast for 24 hours straight on 89.5fm and online via www.bushradio.co.za.

He will host all the Friday programming on Bush Radio 89.5fm from 12am in the morning as we celebrate Freedom Day 2018 with 24 hours of Freedom.

He will host all the Thursday programming on Bush Radio 89.5fm from 12am in the morning along with all the regulars as we celebrate Freedom Day 2017 with 24 hours of Freedom.

He will host all the Monday programming on Bush Radio 89.5fm from 12am in the morning until 12pm that night as we celebrate Freedom Day 2015 with 24 hours of Freedom.

Besides Freedom hosting from the Breakfast Rush to the Wrong Rock Show he will also be highlighting what Freedom Day means and you are invited to call (021 448 6266), or SMS (32158) or participate via twitter, facebook and instagram (#24hoursoffreedom).

Besides some of the serious stuff and excellent music – Freedom will be giving away loads of prizes – ranging from bluetooth speakers to stationery.

24 hours of Freedom is being produced by the other host of Everyday People, Sive Msolo.

Launch of the Biker Show Winter Charity Drive (Pics and Video)

A big thank you to all the biker’s, clubs and individuals who came out to support the launch of the Bush Radio Biker Show Winter Charity drive this past weekend (27 April 2013). Almost 2 tonnes of non-perishable food as well and blankets and clothes were collected!

Please remember the giving does not stop – we will be posting information regarding more collection points in the near future.

Support the Biker Winter Charity Drive

Winter is approaching fast and to assist those who need help the Bush Radio Biker Show in association with the Wings Motorcycle Club will be launching the BIKER SHOW WINTER CHARITY DRIVE.

The drive will take place on the 27 of April 2013 (Freedom Day) at the Shawco Hall, 12th Avenue Kensington from 1pm to 7pm.

The aim of the Freedom Day event is two-fold: To get 1,000kg of tinned food and 1,000 blankets on the day and to launch the Biker Show Winter Charity Drive. Our ultimate target is 2,000kg of tin food and 2,000 blankets, and a bakkie-load of winter clothing.

Biker’s and non-bikers are welcome to support this event.

Collection points will be pubs, shops, restaurants, churches, etc – are in the process of being identified.

Biker Show Winter Charity Drive is done on behalf of the Kensington / Factreton Meals on Wheels Organisation.

Kensington / Factreton Meals on Wheels Organisation is an organisation that deals with caring for the home-based senior citizens and children. It includes nutritional support, healthcare and general wellbeing.

The Bush Radio Biker Show will also broadcast live from the event.
