Listening to 89.5FM will relieve Grade 12 stress

To help Grade 12 learners prepare for the 2009 National Senior Certificate examinations, Bush Radio 89.5 FM together with the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) will broadcasting programmes focusing on examination subjects and examination techniques.

Subject specialists will be in studio to answer your questions and help with subject content, examination techniques and study tips.

The programmes air every Tuesday and Thursday on 89.5 FM from 15h30 – 16h30. (NB THE WCED HAS AGREED TO MOVE THE PROGRAMME TO 16H00 – 17H00 TO ACCOMODATE LEARNERS WHO ARRIVE HOME LATER)

Edited recordings of the broadcast will be available from the WCED e-learning website.

Until the end of October the following subjects will be covered (stay tuned for scheduling details):

Afrikaans Home Language,  Afrikaans First Additional Language,  English Home Language,  English First Additional Language,  Xhosa Home Language,  Mathematics,  Mathematical Literacy,  Accounting,  Life Sciences,  Physical Sciences,  History,  Economics,  Business Studies,  Geography  and Agricultural Sciences.
